The Peace Sign Turns 50 This Year

The peace sign turns 50 this year!

The peace sign has been around for a long time.  Back in the 60’s you would see the peace sign everywhere.  On posters in so many kids bedrooms, on tie dye shirts, necklaces, earrings, handbags, wallets even on the pockets of jeans. I remember having a denim shoulder bag with the peace sign on it and yes I also had a poster in my room with the peace sign in psychedelic colors. Today as the peace sign turns 50 kids all over are wearing jewelry and clothing with this well known symbol. I’m sure it will be around in another 50 years adorning kids all over the world.
